FINLAND`S AND
COLOMBIA`S EDUCATION SYSTEM
In this systems we find some differences among them, between them, some
are:
- Firstly, in Finland the education is compulsory from 7 to 16 years old and in Colombia the children start to study at 4 years old.
- Secondly, in Colombia system, the text, notebooks and school items are payed by the parents, whereas in Finland this are fully subsidized.
- Thirdly, in the international report PISA, Finland receives generally the best mark, contrary to Colombia that always it is between the last positions.
